I only review a direct selling or network marketing company when someone posts their opportunity on my facebook page. If you post on my page I consider it open season to take a close look at that company and decide if it is appropriate for the page. Taking a look at My Habitat Connection, the fist thing I notice is a familiar product line up. Although My Habitat Connection has been in business since 2010, there is nothing here that hasn’t been offered by other companies in the past. They offer common household services through direct selling and promote a Unilevel compensation plan. Services include:
  • Digital voice and video phone services
  • Satellite TV through Direct TV
  • Home security
  • Mobile phone service
  • Digital voice and fax

At fist glance I saw somewhat of a draw back to the Unilevel pay plan. After going through the website videos I learned that they do not pay on a Unileve plan. Although they call it a Unilevel plan, the actual pay plan is based on a 5 X 8 matrix. Unilevel, as the name suggests, only enables you to sponsor one line of distributors, therefore everyone you sponsor is on your frontline. There are no width limitations to the Unilevel plan. The 5 X 8 Matrix, used by My Habitat Connection,  allows for a maximum of five recruits wide and eight deep. For some sponsors this may prove too limiting.  The company website does provide one of the better video explanations I have seen on opportunity websites.
The opportunity does pay through sign up and training bonuses. There is strong incentive to help others get up and running with wither own business start up.  Signup includes a pretty nice replicated website which not only provides opportunity presentations but also decent training for sponsors and new recruits. Of course there are commissions paid for all services and products sold through the member’s website.
The products and services offered by My Habitat Connection are not unique. A great benefit to this company in addition to a great looking distributor website is that it offers anyone interested in promoting these products and services to get in on a closer to the ground level entry than joining other companies that may have been around for many years.
