Link Your Facebook to Twitter for Network Marketing Success

I recently saw a Facebook post where a Facebook user announced just signing up with Twitter. Some people discount Twitter as being out of vogue and less influential than Facebook. Facebook now reports over 800 million users. However, Twitter recently announced 100 million active users, half of which tweet to the site on a daily basis. For Twitter that is an 82 percent increase since the beginning of the year. Twitter is increasing faster in 2011 than in 2010, and the company said it is on pace to add more active users, (26 million) in the next four months as in 2006 through 2009 combined. In 2011, the number of users that log into Twitter everyday has slightly more than doubled, or grown 105 percent. Twitter said, just like most internet use, over half of those active Twitter users contribute tweets from a smartphone or other mobile device, Social media and social media marketing are more important than ever in your business balding effort. We are certainly an on the go society and that is where you will find the people you are looking for, “on the go”.

When building your direct sales or network marketing business, take advantage of all that Twitter exposure when you are updating on Facebook. You do this by linking your Facebook posts to you Twitter account, that way you get twice the bang for your efforts. Every time you post on Facebook, that post will be displayed on your Twitter timeline.  Connecting the updates is a very easy process. First you want to make sure you have a Facebook fan page to promote your products, services or opportunity. If you do not have a fan page, be sure to check out this entry on setting up a fan page and get one started. With the Edit Page button you will be taken to a page as displayed below. From that page under “Connect With People“, click on Link your Page to Twitter. Then select the accounts you want to link together and it is done.

From this point forward, all of your Facebook updates will update as tweets at the same time on Twitter. This is a perfect way to get more exposure for your MLM and network marketing prospecting and recruiting efforts. It really is that simple.
