I have read a lot of books over the years. A lot of the books had great sounding titles or book covers buy lacked substance on the pages. As I became familiar with the time tested and proven classics I realized that sticking with the sources for most newer books would serve me better than chasing the latest guru.
Psycho-Cybernetics is one of those/ written when I was two years old by Dr.. Maxwell Maltz. As a plastic surgeon he discovered that inner image or the mind’s eye was more powerful than physical appearances. People’s mental ideas would mask physical evidence of dramatic changes in their deformities. The doctor set out to understand what this was happening and what he could do about it.
His research and practice revealed and overcame the age old truth, “as a man thinketh, so is he”. This is one of those books that I wish I had spent more time with years ago when I first read it. There are great exercises that will strengthen a person’s belief system to accomplish just about anything they set out to make happen. This was referenced by Napoleon Hill in his all time class work, Think and Grow Rich. As a millionaire network marketer once said to me, “aaaah to believe that is the part”
That is what we are gong to spend a lot of time working on here at AskJimmyJohnson.com . I have seen some of the most promising, talented people not achieve the success they pursued because they could not see them selves deep down inside being worthy of the success they sought. This book is a fantastic start at rewiring for success and eliminating those limiting beliefs that stop many network marketers from reaching the top.
