Not too long ago I watched a group of network marketers demonstrate the ability to video conference up to 12 members at the same time. It was called a hangout and I didn’t really pay it a lot of attention until today when I received a post from one of my favorites Grant Cardone with the following photo:

Look at the power already displayed by Google Plus and it is still just a project in beta phase. However, you can actually sign up to join the project at the Google Plus website. Even if you don’t sign up for the project (I am) at least take the demo tour and start thinking about all of the possibilities it offers to help you build your MLM or network marketing business. We have seen many facebook projects come and go. Some actually went out in a ball of flames. This one I like almost as much as Google Voice.

My Space which once held the record for reaching 50 million members in 1046 days has been blown away by Google Plus. Google + actually hit 50 million users in just 88 days. At first glance I thought Google Plus looked like a cross between MySpace and Facebook. At second glance I sill thought the same thing only more like on steroids. I can see some real possibilities with this product and encourage you to take the demo and then share your ideas here on how this might benefit your business building efforts.

While posting this article, at the same time I actually created a Google Plus account. It was actually a quick and simple process and you can now find me at the following link:  http://bit.ly/GooglePls.  I suggest you get in on the ground floor on this one. I think Google may have hit a home run this time.

One use I see is the ability to create a 12 man or woman inner circle who will be able to communicate through the live video chat program. Figure out some ways of your own to use the circles. I see some real possibilities with the circle groups. The huddle and instant uploads also provides for some great team building.

You have probably heard the old comeback to bad conditions or a down economy or recession, that we can choose not to participate. I have heard it for years and you know it really is very true. Economies are based on individual and collective attitudes. While most people get their attitudes from news sources and then feed off each other with the “bad news”. You really do need to make a mental decision not to participate. Protect your precious mind from those who would pull you down to their level of thinking.

I have met people who literally will not discuss a recession or the so called worst economy since the great depression. Instead some people look at all of the opportunity that current conditions provide and take advantage of them.  I didn’t say take advantage of people but of conditions. W.Clement Stone was famous for saying “that’s good’ in times like these and then go to work to find the silver lining in the cloud. Winners realize that when so many people are reported to be out of work that it means there are more people than ever looking for ways to earn an income or extra money to make ends meet. Winners are the people who go out and meet more people than ever to find those people who are looking for what they have to offer. Yes, there are people out there right now looking for you and your opportunity, but they will not come to your house and watch the evening news with your. You have to go find them. This is a time for taking action.

It is in times like this that MLM and network marketing stars shine. I was just looking at  www.businessforhome.org  where they were highlighting the MLM hall of Fame. They showed the industry’s top earners, some who actually earn nearly and over one million dollars a month. Now looking at this list I recognized the legends of the direct selling, MLM and network marketing. Most are working with long time, well established companies that they stuck with through thick and thin and never took their eyes off their goals. I have actually read books and listened to audios from a couple of those people on the top of the list even before I entered network marketing back in the 1980s just because of the business success stories they told.

The point is that you too can be a top earner in any MLM company once you decide to plant your flag and that no one and no economy or conditions are going to take you eyes off the prize. One day you too can have the same results and be on the same list just by keeping a positive attitude, working harder for yourself than you would for a boss and staying the course. Do not jump from company to company or opportunity to opportunity.  When the grass appears greener on the other side of the fence it’s usually because someone else has spread all of the manure.

Pick your company carefully and stick with it as I pointed out in an earlier post called “Picking the right networking or MLM company“. Take advantage of all of the training available through your MLM company but also take advantage of the free training offered at AskJimmyJohnson.info and who knows I may be reading your name on a top earners list in the not too distant future.

During the last free live weekly webinar I attended, I caught a valuable tip from the presenter who is a top earner and has built a huge MLM organization with facebook marketing. I encourage you to catch these free live webinars each week but  also want to share with you what I learned that you can implement right now today.

I have a number of facebook fan pages on facebook and all are designed to drive traffic where I want people to be. You may have see this one AskJimmyJohnson. I do use some facebook PPC advertising, that’s Pay Per Click. The big tip I am now implementing is that I will no longer target my advertising to one broad age range, such as 21 to 58 years olds. In order to track results I will use the same advertising but repeat it in various age groups. For example, one group would be 20 – 30 another group would be 30 to 40 and another ages 40 to 50 and so on. This way I concentrate on the groups that give me the most response. I can then go on to other campaigns and target by age group again to see how that particular age group responds.

The same method could also be used to determine which ad photo or image is most attractive. If you are not using facebook fan pages to attract interested prospects for your MLM or network marketing business you really need to get started as quick as possible. Unless you just came out of a coma, I am sure you have heard all the hoop la about the recent changes to facebook. The only thing that never really changes is that there will always be change. To be quite honest with you I have not seen a real drastic change in my facebook use. From what I have read, a lot of the effects are going to be noticesd with the use of apps. So that pretty much leaves me out of it. I certainly have a personal page, but my marketing efforts take place on my various fan pages. Now in the previous facebook change with the moving of tabs and going to iframes I had to get used to that and actually thought they had ruined facebook. However, I just did what everyone is going to have to do and that is just live with it.

I think as humans we just naturally resit change of any sort. The bottom line is that until we build our own facebook, we will just have to go with the flow and in the end I think most users will get over it.  If you are serious about building a big MLM or network marketing business the smart thing to do is just keep promoting yourself and your opportunity to the over 600 million facebook users and not worry about the few who have decided to drop out of facebook (they’ll be back). Also keep in mind facebook hires some of the brightest minds on the planet. I have to keep faith that they are doing what is in the best interest of all involved.

My advice to all is, if you’ve been enjoying success with facebook for your marketing, recruiting and sponsoring, don’t change a thing just do more of it. If you have not had success marketing with facebook then I recommend you take advantage of this facebook marketing training and implement the strategies taught. This training will also benefit those you are experiencing success by taking your efforts to the next level. There are network marketers who are making a fortune using facebook and you can too.
